Pattern Launch – The Bilberry Top

I’m so excited to finally share my latest PDF pattern with you – the Bilberry Top! This is a design I’ve been working on for a while, and I’m thrilled to finally release it. The Bilberry Top is now available in sizes EUR 32–56 (US 0–24) and comes in both B- and D-cup options for a better fit across different bust sizes. Both the patterns and sewing instructions are available in English and Swedish.

This top has a classic silhouette with thoughtful, elevated details. There’s a soft pleat at the center front, an open neckline, and dropped shoulders for a modern, relaxed look. The sleeve ends in a simple cuff, giving it a clean finish. The fit is relaxed and easy to wear – perfect for both everyday outfits and dressier looks, depending on the fabric you choose!

For those choosing the D-cup version, the pattern includes vertical front and back seams to give a more shaped fit. The D-cup front is wider and slightly longer to better accommodate a fuller bust, and the vertical seams help define the waistline. It’s a great option if you usually need to make full bust adjustments – here, the work is already done for you!

Fabric Recommendations

The Bilberry Top is designed for knitted fabrics with at least 30% crosswise (horizontal) stretch. It works beautifully in cotton jersey, and also in softer knits with a heavier drape, like viscose, rayon, modal, lyocell, or Tencel. Whether you're going for something crisp or flowy, this pattern adapts well!

Skill Level

This is an intermediate-level sewing pattern. The included sewing instructions walk you through each step with illustrations and text, so if you’ve sewn with knits before and are ready to level up, this is a perfect project.

PDF Format

As with all my patterns, the Bilberry Top is a layered PDF pattern, which means you can print only the size(s) you need. The files include A4/Letter, A0, and a projector file. There is also an A4/Letter file where you can choose to print with both sew lines and seam allowance lines. Seam allowances are 1 cm (3/8”), and the hem is 2.5 cm (1”).
